- Design, code, test, debug and document programs in C/C++ for Linux and bare metal embedded systems
- Support engineering efforts with programs and scripts
- Participate in designing architecture of future hardware platforms
- Interact with Applications and Support engineers to support customers
- Eight (8) or more years C/C++ development experience
- Embedded Linux development experience
- Hardware and/or device drivers experience
- Real-time OS experience
- Experience with Windows and Linux C/C++ development systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent technical troubleshooting, code debugging, and problem solving skills
- RFID air and network protocol experience
- Experience with and knowledge of OOA/D/P
- Other programming languages especially Ruby and Java
- Performance optimization
- DSP knowledge
- Ability to interpret standards (ISO, EPC)
