The Intelleflex MMR-6500 multi-protocol RFID reader module provides extended capabilities with industry-leading range and read/write reliability using dual monostatic antennas. Its advanced design provides backward compatibility with EPC Global C1G2 certified tags and more than 7X range extension using the new ISO/IEC 18000-6:2010 Manchester encoded Battery Assisted Passive RFID protocol.
Designed in a small PC Card form factor for drop-in replacement compatibility with previous generation module readers, the MMR-6500 consumes less peak power than standard readers to achieve full 1 Watt transmit power, and provides for lower power standby modes and quick turn on from full power off. The MMR-6500 can read EPC-compliant passive C1G2 tags and ISO/IEC 18000-6:2010 battery-assisted Class 3 tags.
Software DLL’s are compatible with Windows Mobile Development and .NET Compact Framework. The API supports basic and extended inventory and read/write commands as well as higher level commands to support temperature sensor tag data structures.
